Avoid cancer, save lives..

Gosh! I felt that I have been idle from the blog life for years... But it's just for a month ( or so). Anyway, I just wanna on an email that a colleague sent recently.Good info for all of us.

[Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins ]

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have  not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to STARVE the cancer cells by not feeding it with foods it needs to multiple.

What cancer cells feed on:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Note: Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A be! tter natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells will starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasi! tes, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes t o nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells.

To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water--best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines will become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less ! meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor.

Anger, unforgiving and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

Do stay healthy peeps!

Fast food story..true or false?

This is a very disturbing view. Seriously, the burger did not turn bad even after 6 months? Errrkkk..just imagine what we have been consuming all this while?! Oh my oh my..

Just read the extract from the email that I received last week..

"New York - Looking almost as fresh as the day it was bought, this McDonald's Happy Meal is in fact a staggering six months old.

Photographed every day for the past half a year by Manhattan artist Sally Davies the kids meal of fries and burger is without a hint of mould or decay.

Entitled 'The Happy Meal Project', Mrs Davies, 54, has charted the seemingly indestructible fast food meals progress as it refuses to yield to the forces of nature.

Sitting on a shelf in her apartment, Sally has watched the Happy Meal with increasing shock and even her dogs have resisted the urge to try and steal a free tasty snack.

'I bought the meal on April 10 of this year and brought it home with the express intention of leaving it out to see how it fared,' she said. 'I chose McDonald's because it was nearest to my house, but the project could have been about any other of the myriad of fast food joints in New York.

Expecting the food to begin moulding after a few days, Mrs Davies' surprise turned to shock as the fries and burger still had not shown any signs of decomposition after two weeks.

'It was then that I realised that something strange might be going on with this food that I had bought,' she explained.

'The fries shrivelled slightly as did the burger patty, but the overall appearance of the food did not change as the weeks turned to months.

'And now, at six months old, the food is plastic to the touch and has an acrylic sheen to it.

'The only change that I can see is that it has become hard as a rock.

It comes after Denver grandmother Joann Bruso left a Happy Meal to decay for a year until March to highlight the nutritional dangers of fast food."

Apply 3 get 11 ! No deal is better than this!

I just received this brilliant email from a colleague on how you can go on annual leave spree for 11 days and just apply annual leave for 3 days! See below :

Oooppss!! It is only applicable for those who work in KL only aaaa... :)

C5 in action..

Oh man..I have been a very bad wife. :(  For 2 reasons :

1. I forgot my hubby’s birthday (ooooooooppsss!!) – that was on 25th Sept ago. But I reconciled the next day. With hugs & kisses .. XOX..
2. I didn’t buy him anything for his birthday after I forgot about it(bad bad bad!)

But but but.. I have never been that bad before ..it’s just this one time. I took oath that I would never never forget his birthday again. Guess what? I got him a brand new Nokia C5 (2 days later). In exchange of his Sony Cybershot C902 – the one in red. He sold it off to a friend upon getting his new C5. :D I know it is not an Iphone (but he never wanter an Iphone anyway). But he is happy with it. Yippie yippie!!

So, what’s good about this C5? I found it quite competitive with some other smartphones in the market. And it’s cheap – just merely RM570! Let’s see what C5 can offer you..

**Info on specs are from http://www.nokia.com.my/

Thanks to Nokia for introducing such an affordable phone. It's a simple C5 - but yet full of apps! So Happy Belated Birthday love! Love yaaa sooo much!! Muaaah muaaahh!

Colour me good!

Aiyoooo..it’s been a while I left this part of the world. Okay okay – I know you guys missed me, but what can I do, I have to work and these reports need to be submitted before its due time. If not, I will be marked as non-conformed. Okay , I am back and will try to blog twice a week to the least..okiess..Come gimme huggies now okies.. :D

As a start, I really need a fresh new skincare regime and makeup stuff. Not that I am not satisfied with the ones that I have now, I just feel that I need a new fresh line.

Let’s start with skincare. I am on Olay product, Total Effects – from the cleanser to the moisturizer. Yes, it tremendously gives what I want in one bottle. I don’t have to put on another cream to get some fairness, or remove spots or improve my frown lines. I have been loyal with Total Effects for almost 5 years now. No complaints though. However, due to aging, I guess I may need to change to Regenerist soon. My skin is no longer supple as it used to be, and dryness seems to be an issue now.. Sigh..

Let’s go to makeup stuff. I use Loreal & Maybelline for most of my makeup stuff. But lipstick wise, I love Revlon. Coz I like to go for a natural look. Red is no longer in for me. For the eyes, my super top choice is the Superliner from L’oreal . It’s the best liquid eyeliner I ever had. It’s super easy, glides very well and the application is just a breeze. It’s really worth trying. Match it with Telescopic mascara. Your eyes will brighten up in seconds. These two match are the only thing I need for my eyes. The savior of the day if I feel pretty lazy to apply any other colour on my face.

As for blusher, I would try to be as natural as possible. Too red-cheeked looks cheap and flirty. I just wanna keep a decent and mellow look. Maybelline has that range – from the light pink to the warm orange palette. It’s just nice.

Lipstick – my fav is the Revlon range. I have the Renewist range which provide the right earth colour – not too pale, not too siren either. Just love it moderate.

So, it sounds like a plan – get Regenerist, new foundation and new compact powder (now, I am on Loreal too!). Maybe new eye shadow palette, new eyeliner coz the one now is almost finish, new mascara, basically all new. Wow..that’s gonna be helluva expenses…yummm yummm…Maybe I should try SimpliSiti..Dato’ Siti’s products line..thinking thinking..

Pooot poooot..farts!

Need I say more? This is full of farts facts already! :p

Shooo Beyonce..Make way for these hot sexy stallions!

These are so sexy cool, peeps, it would make Beyonce runs away shy..huhuhuh..naaaahh..just kidding okies. :D

Guys, I know you would be drooling and wished that you could have one..Yeah, my hubby always want one too..but..sigh..if so, we have to eat grass and pebbles for many many moons to come..

Enjoy the curvacious creature - the man made machine!

Attention please..This is your Captain speaking..

Attention please..This is your Captain speaking..Captain Robb from Nuffnang flight NN007. Fasten your seat belt and smile..

"We take a break from our regular programming to bring you a community service message about something that is rather worrying to us lately.

As you might already know, there are 2 types of Nuffnang campaigns that bloggers may earn from: Metered Cost per Impression (mCPM) Campaigns, which pay according to the number of blog visitors who view the ads running on blogs; and Cost-Per-Click (CPC) campaigns, which pay bloggers based on the number of clicks generated on the ads.

We’ve noticed that certain groups have been engaging click fraud, which is defined as clicking on CPC advertisements intentionally just to generate earnings for a blog’s owner. We understand that some of you may just be anxious about earning some side income from displaying the banner ads, but do note that this is in fact a violation of our Terms & Conditions under Section 6.

Among some of the actions which constitute click fraud are;
- clicking on other bloggers’ ads and leaving a comment behind asking/hinting to the owner to click on their ads back
- asking for blog visitors’ help to click on the ads
- registering a large number of blogs and clicking on ads on each of them
- repeatedly switching to a different IP to click on own ads

Banner ads spaces are bought by advertisers to promote their advertising campaign. Ads are are only supposed to be clicked on if the viewer is interested to find out more about the advertising campaign, not for the intention of earning extra money. Merely clicking on banner ads for the intention of earning extra money would jeopardize the effectiveness of a campaign. It may seem harmless, but click fraud benefits no one in the long run because should this situation worsen, the frequency of ad campaigns might be significantly reduced as advertisers will be selective to only advertise on blogs with no records of click fraud, reducing the number of ad space available to advertisers.

Our system is capable of tracking these actions mentioned above, which are documented and if necessary, be used as evidence for any legal purposes. In the past, Nuffnang has suspended and banned various individuals and groups for involved with this offence. However, as the number of bloggers who engage in click fraud has been growing in an alarming rate within our community, we are forced to be more vigilant to bring this to an end. We would take the necessary action to preserve the quality of blogs and ad space available to advertisers so other members of the community are not affected by those who engage in click fraud.

We realize that many Nuffnangers may not be aware that they might unintentionally be involved with click fraud, therefore we ask that you please help us spread the word. If you are aware of any of your friends or other Nuffnangers who have been engaging in such acts, we would appreciate it if you could kindly educate them on the harms of engaging in click fraud activities.

Thank you for your attention.
Say NO to click Fraud."

Have a nice flight, Nuffies. Roger and out.

B is the letter of the day

Yeah .. letter B. The second letter from the array of 26 alphabets. B depicts many things. You wouldn’t want B for any of your exam scores..right? But this time around, it’s the most anticipated by all my colleagues since early September. Yes, you guessed it right. BONUS!

We at this prestige organization just got our bonus letter today. No no no..we have not gotten the money yet..don’t get too excited there. Because I am not! Uhuk uhuk uhuk..

Performance was said to be GOOD, but the indication of greens is not that GOOD. OK laaaaaa…the company is shouldering the losses of the one of the children company, so I guess the numbers are affected.

Well, it’s not everyday that you get bonus for good performance. And it’s better to have some than you didn’t get anything.

Thank you boss. Next year, give more..

Russian Federation?? And the emergence of Diva Universal

Hello hello everyone..it’s good to be back after a long break of Raya. I had a long break too – from work and also from the blog world. I took a break from everything – I just wanna enjoy my Raya..woooohooo!!

So, it took me by surprise today that a Russian Federation visited my blog. For real?? It’s Russian Federation!! Waaaaa.. I feel honoured, seriously. But what the…?? Whatever laaaa..internet is a borderless world and they could have stumbled upon my blog..

Ok back to business..what’s happening lately? I know I have been stuffing myself with lemangs, rendangs, raya cookies, and whatnots. Oh boy, I feel, I am slightly expanding horizontally now. I am sure if I were to measure my waist, it would go up few “centimeters”. Muahahahahah..time to diet and cut the fat! I sounded like the Biggest Loser..and the Asian version is already aired last night with Marion Caunter as the host – on Diva Universal.

Diva Universal – the rebranded name for Hallmark Channel . I guess it’s because it would attract more female viewers. Well, my favourites are Oprah, Lipstick Jungle, The Biggest Loser in whatever version be it Australia, US or Asia, Merlin and Crossing Jordan. But again, I have to win the battle of the remote control either against my son or husband. I won mine every weekdays from 10pm onwards for AXN. So, have to sometimes lose.

Alrighty - Need to go back to work. Tonnes of reports to clear now. Scheduled reports, adhoc reports – you name it. Gotta crack my head and survive this Excel too.

Till then..if you want to invite me to your open house, also can. I am all arms! LOL.. :D
